November may have been our first full month of blogging, but I’m particularly pleased with how well Money Blogger did:
Subscribers:
140
Revenue:
AdSense: $72
Affiliates: $117
Total: $189
Costs:
Competition: $100
Advertising: $75
Total: $175
So we’re in profit, and we’re rapidly approaching 150 subscribers after less than 2 months blogging. Compare that to October’s stats.
You’ll notice that I’m still investing pretty much all revenue into growing the site (ad campaigns, giveaways, etc.). I’ve mentioned before that that’s a deliberate policy. I’ve given myself 1 year to see how much I can earn from blogging, and the way to do that is to have the maximum number of subscribers at the end of that year.
As for where the money’s actually coming from, well Text Link Ads continues to be my biggest earner. I don’t use their ads on Money Blogger because the domain is too new for them to work here, but their affiliate scheme has proved almost as successful as the ads themselves. The next biggest is AdSense, followed by other affiliate ads.
As for December, I have some targets set in my own mind, but I don’t know if they’re achievable yet. I think it’ll be fun finding out, so don’t forget to subscribe to Money Blogger and hopefully we can all learn something in the process.

3Hoto: Yes, the costs are quite high, but as I’ve mentioned before, I’m deliberately investing most of what I’m making back into the site.
I hope that will pay off over the course of a year, but we’ll see!
