Agreed. I had the same problem. Now I have to create a new account.
Flickr has the same problem with yahoo too. Very annoying!

Cliff: I imagine it’s something that’s being rolled out gradually. I don’t believe Google are just picking on me. :)

I can’t see the problem I have nly one account for Blogger, Adsense, Analytics and Page Creator.

I’m not seeing this … maybe it’s being rolled out slowly?

But I don’t want a gmail / hotmail / whatever account. I have too many mail accounts already. If they insist, I will simply move away from adsense. They’re no longer the only possible source of revenue.

You’re not serious are you? Laziness does not come into it in any way.

I’ve been a web developer for many years, and I can tell you that if a web site forces you to open multiple accounts just to use their basic services, then there’s something wrong with the site, not the user.

Hi,

One Google account is never enough. I guess it depends on your needs, but you can organize yourself better to manage your passwords and accounts.

Laziness is a bad excuse.
