As I mentioned before, December is traditionally a quiet month for bloggers.

Most people tend to have done their online Christmas shopping in November, so increases in ad sales are generally wiped out by the fact that a lot of people go offline completely for two weeks at the end of the month.

Having said that we still did quite well in December:

Text Link Ads continues to be my biggest earner, both on Money Blogger and the rest of my sites. In fact, I’m expecting my total TLA earnings to hit $1000 this month.

Google Adsense is the second biggest earner, although I took the decision to remove an ad spot, which improved readability, but reduced earnings.

I’ve got lots planned for this month – including more competitions and giveaways for subscribers, so why not subscribe to Money Blogger now!
