About Money Blogger

Hi guys I’m Court Tuttle and Money Blogger is a project I started around one of my many passions, being smart with money.

By my definition, being smart with money means earning more than you need, living life with financial discipline, and investing in yourself and in other smart avenues (that’s right – I’m saying you’re smart if you missed that).

While I’m officially launching this site in 2012, in truth this journey began almost 10 years ago, when my finances were a complete and utter catastrophe.

I decided to make a change and am really proud of what I’ve been able to accomplish in the last 10 years.

My ‘Resume’

I’ve started MANY online businesses. Some of them have been spectacular and others haven’t worked out. I’ve learned that in order to succeed, I had to experience some failure. Fortunately, I’ve had more wins than losses. Here are some of the wins.

The Keyword Academy
(Feb. 2009 – Present)

Mark Butler and I founded TheKeywordAcademy.com as a training school for keyword-based search engine marketing. We charge $33 per month for access to our advice and the site and program have been amazingly successful.

Since it’s inception, this business has produced more than $1.2 million in revenue, most of which is profit.

CourtneyTuttle.com
(2007 – 2009)

I started this site for personal branding and as an opportunity to test my ideas for making money. The site was super successful and helped Mark and I to successfully launch The Keyword Academy.

I was also able to run a successful marketing consulting business with leads that the site generated. The site consistently produced more than $10,000 per month in net business and made more than $20,000 in some months.

Oh yeah, and the site ranked #1 in Google for one of the hardest terms on the planet: internet marketing. You can still find it in the top 10 for that term today, even though I haven’t worked on it in over three years!

Niche Sites

I have started more niche sites than I can name and many of them have worked out great. I’m always experimenting with new ideas for making money.

For example, in April of 2009 I wrote 100 articles for a revenue-sharing article site called HubPages. In the last three years, those articles have made over $18,000 so that work ended up being incredible for passive income:

I invite you to join me in my journey to establish Money Blogger as one of the go-to spots for learning about money. I want to help people to learn how to make money, save, invest, and make the smart decisions that will help them to get ahead.
