Money Blogger is a year long project started in October 2007 with a simple aim - to see how much money you can really make from blogging.

The idea was inspired by several “professional bloggers” who claim to be earning $20,000 a month or more. But is that realistic? Or are these people just talking themselves up?

I set up this blog with a brand new domain name and a virgin installation of Wordpress in order to test out some of their advice for myself. But along the way, I’m going to share my stats with you, tell you what worked for me and what’s not been so successful.

Who’s behind Money Blogger?

My name is Dom Ramsey and I’m a web developer and designer. I have over 12 years experience in the industry, and I’m currently building a photo sharing community called Fotonomy.

I started blogging a couple of years ago, initially for fun, and then to supplement my income. I now have five blogs, the biggest of which is Chocablog - a blog all about chocolate!
